Generally speaking, the Paleo Diet is a way of eating based on our genetics and how we ate a long long time ago. Think before agriculture took over and so much food became altered and processed. Bottom line – if a caveman could get his hands on it, eat as much of it as you want. There’s no counting or weighing with the Paleo Diet. If it’s not something that a caveman had access too (processed foods, refined sugar, etc. – stay away from it. Pretty simple. The idea behind this is that our bodies never really adjusted to all the grain that we started producing when the farming revolution took over. So, no grains, no sugar and no processed food.
